Whiskey For Christmas
Whiskey from Wyoming’s first distillery can be expected on liquor store shelves in time for Christmas. That’s the word from the owners and operators of Wyoming Whiskey – located near Thermopolis and owned by residents of Jackson Hole. Brad and Kate Mead joined intopartnership with David Defazio in establishing the company about four years ago. All of the products that go into the production of the whiskey are from Wyoming. The company told The Wyoming Business Report that approximately 48-thousand bottles will be shipped out of the first batch at the end of this month, but that is expected to increase significantly in the years to come. The product is expected to cost between $39 and $49 per bottle from retail stores in the state.
