Wyoming Band Goes To New York

As the family gathers around the TV later this week to watch the traditional Thanksgiving Parade while dinner cooks in the oven, Wyomingites may want to watch for some familiar faces.  The Wyoming All State Marching Band was selected to be one of 11 marching bands in the 2012 Macy’s Parade out of more than 150 applicants nationwide.  The All State Band consists of High School band students from across Wyoming.  The announcement of their selection was made last May at the state capitol where Governor Matt Mead was presented with the official invitation for the band.
