Jackson Hole Mountain Resort To Open

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort opens for the 2012/13 winter season tomorrow at 9:00 am. Teewinot and Après Vous lifts will start spinning and one run, Moran to Werner, will be open. An après celebration will follow at the Four Seasons Resort from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with all proceeds benefiting Teton County Search and Rescue. Tickets for the party are $10 at the door. Spokesperson Anna Cole says this is the earliest opening date in Jackson Hole Mountain Resort history.  Snowfall totals for the month are consistent with historical November averages, despite temperatures being above average for the month. Grand Targhee Resort opens today.
