Broncs Have Sorry Senior Send-off

Bronc

It could have been a happier send-off for the seniors last night as they played their last games on their home basketball court.  The Lady Broncs went down to the Limon Eagles 43 to 28.  JC Phillips led the scoring for the ladies with 11 points.  Now the Lady Broncs may have to face Cody in the first of the regional play-offs.  The boys just couldn’t get ahead at any time during the game, starting with the first quarter when they trailed 24 to 12; and were never able to recover even with their fourth quarter rally.  Leading scorer for the boys was Michael Leahey with 21 points during the game.  The final score was 68 to 62.  The Broncs play their last game of the regular season will be in Pinedale Thursday Night.
