Gasoline Costs Remain High Here
Gasoline prices throughout much of the nation continued to drop through the Holiday weekend, and are beginning to drop now in Jackson Hole. According to AAA Auto Club’s Fuel Gauge Report, the national average for unleaded regular currently stands at $3.41 a gallon while Wyoming’s statewide average is now $3.44 per gallon. State averages ranged from $4.06 in Hawaii to $3.14 in Missouri. In Jackson Hole, Gas Buddy has surveyed prices and found the average is now $3.61 per gallon while the average in Teton Valley, Idaho is $3.46. AAA analysts expect gas prices across the country will continue to decline as the end of the year approaches, as lower demand, cheaper winter-blend gasoline and economic concerns continue to pressure pump prices lower.
