It appears ski season is about to move into full steam.  The Jackson Hole Mountain Resort announced the new Casper Lift is scheduled to open today, followed by the Bridger Gondola, Marmot and Thunder lifts opening on Saturday, December 8th. Then on Sunday, the Resort anticipates opening the Aerial Tram for the winter season. Currently, the resort says snow totals for the year are above normal, with 102 inches season to date at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, 123 inches at Grand Targhee where five of the resort’s six lifts are operating.  Altogether, the Tetons have received the most snow of any region in the Rockies.  Meanwhile, Snow King is projecting its opening date for December 22nd.
