Ridership at Jackson Hole Airport  has picked up slightly over the past month according to last month’s statistics prepared for the airport board .  That report shows those catching flights out of the airport numbered 5% more than the same month last year, while those arriving here  posted an 8% increase.  Of course, being the shoulder season, the actual number of passengers was only slightly higher.  Still, it reverses a trend from the last few Novembers.  Last year had seen a 12% decline in arrivals and an 8% decline in departures.  Actual flights were also on the increase last month powered by additional flights from Republic Airlines.  Over the next week, the airport’s winter schedule will begin with direct flights by seven carriers eventually reaching out to nine major cities.
