6-horse hitch

When you watch the Rose Parade January first, keep your eyes open for an entry out of Jackson Hole.  Jackson Fork Ranch’s prize-winning all-mare Percheron six-horse hitch will appear in the New Year’s Day parade. The Rose Parade website states “Under the vision of Joe Ricketts, the Jackson Fork Ranch Percherons while a relatively young program has quickly made a mark on the breed.”  Jackson Fork Ranch has won two recent World Champion titles with their six horse hitch of mares. The six-horse hitch and wagon will appear as the 85th entry in the parade.  Jackson Fork Ranch is located south of Jackson near Bondurant.
