A Jackson Hole man has died of injuries sustained last week while playing indoor soccer at the Jackson/Teton County Recreation Center.  32-year-old Nicholas Izard had been engaged in a co-ed indoor soccer game when he and another player collided with the wall and Izzard suffered a serious head injury.  Izard was rushed to St. John’s Medical Center and flown from there to Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center in Idaho Falls.  He died of his injuries Friday.  Izard is survived by his wife and young daughter. Staff and administration at the recreation center have expressed their sadness about the accident and have themselves met with the Jackson Hole Community Counseling Center to discuss the accident and its impact on family, friends, community and staff.  Parks and Recreation Center Director Steve Ashworth says indoor soccer league play has been suspended through the end of the year while the program is being re-evaluated.   Izard’s memorial service has been set for 6:00 pm Wednesday at the Grand Teton National Park Visitor Center.
