The Teton County Board of Commissioners recently approved the Project Charter for the Tribal Trail Connector project, which includes the creation of a volunteer Stakeholder Advisory Committee to help provide guidance and feedback to staff and the project team. The Board approved and released the application for the Stakeholder Advisory Committee yesterday, and interested citizens will be able to apply to join the committee through Friday, August 3, 2018.
The Project Charter outlines that the committee will provide advice and comment at various stages of project development, and should seek to represent a broad range of interests, including representatives from project-area neighbors, non-motorized and transit interests, wildlife and conservation advocates, local business, tourism, and public art interests, citizens-at-large, and local school representatives.
The application is posted and available on the Teton County website: http://www.tetoncountywy.gov/1683/Tribal-Trail-Connector.
“We are committed to an open and collaborative process for the entire Tribal Trail project,” said Sean O’Malley, Director of Public Works. “Public involvement will be critical to the success of this effort, and we look forward to populating the Stakeholder Advisory Committee and kicking-off the project in earnest,” he continued.
