Above Average Snow
Snowpack in the northwestern corner of Wyoming continues to be above average in both actual snow accumulation and water content. According to the Natural Resources Conservation Service, the Snake River Basin has reported 111% of average snow in its 16 reporting stations containing about 109% of the average water content for this time of year. Meanwhile, the Upper Yellowstone-Madison basin is reporting 113% of average snow accumulation in its 13 reporting stations containing 111% of the average snow water content. To the southeast, the Upper Green River Basin is reporting 111% of normal in both actual snow accumulation and water content in its 13 reporting stations.
