Elk Hunt Still On In Star Valley
Elk hunting season is not entirely over in this part of Wyoming yet. Elk hunters with an unfilled limited quota license for Hunt Area 91 in Star Valley still have opportunity to harvest an elk throughout all of Hunt Area 91. However, there is a portion of the hunt area that isopen to archery only. The type 1 license for Hunt Area 91 is valid for antlerless elk through Dec. 31, 2012. Hunters holding a Hunt Area 91, type 6 license, can take an antlerless elk through Jan. 31, 2013 throughout the entire hunt area.
