JH Residents Appointed To State Boards
Several Jackson Hole residents have been appointed to serve on state boards this week by Governor Matt Mead. Among them are Karen Stewart for the State Arts Council, Carol Owens for the Board of Dental Examiners, Jody Holzinger for the Board of Medicine, Tom Chapman for the Wyoming Retirement System Board, and Bruce Grosbety on the Wyoming Tourism Board. Additionally, Representative Keith Gingery says a Star Valley man will soon be appointed to the governor’s cabinet. Steve Corsi was chosen to head the State Department of Family Services. Gingery says as vacancies on the various boards come up each year, members are chosen from those who have volunteered to serve. Gingery says the vacancies are published on the state website and instructions for volunteering are posted there as well.
