Near Year Baby Celebrated
St. John’s Medical Center officials say the birth of the first baby of the New Year in the valley arrived on January 2nd. However, the names of the baby and the baby’s parents have been withheld to honor the family’s request for patient privacy. Meanwhile, the hospital Auxiliary recognized the birth by coordinating a warm welcome on behalf of community businesses. A large gift basket presented to the family included baby care items, toys and gift certificates to be enjoyed by the proud family at local shops and restaurants. The Auxiliary regularly coordinates special events and fundraisers to benefit the patients of St. John’s Medical Center.
