Changes In This Year’s IPSSSDR

IPSSSDR_Doggies

There will be a change in the format for the 18th Annual International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race this year.  Race Director Frank Teasley says for the first time in the race’s history, there will be a side-by-side start with two mushers leaving the starting line simultaneously, vying for position as they mush their ways down Broadway.  Hundreds of onlookers are again expected to line the street for the ceremonial start of the race, after which START bus will run a free shuttle from the town square to the musher’s party at Snow King.  The race proceeds for the next nine days with stops in West Yellowstone, Montana;  Alpine; Pinedale; Lander; Big Piney/Marbleton; Kemmerer; Mountain View; Lyman and Evanston where the race finishes.
