Grouse Discussions Tomorrow In Jackson

Sage Grouse

The Upper Snake River Basin Local Sage Grouse Working Group will hold its next meeting from 1:00 to 4:30 pm tomorrow at the Wyoming Game and Fish Jackson Region office. The primary focus of the meeting will be to discuss updates to the working group’s sage grouse conservation plan. Additional topics may include a discussion of the winter sage grouse survey in Jackson Hole organized by the wildlife research group, Craighead Beringia South; initial planning for the spring sage grouse lek surveys conducted by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department and responsible federal land-management agencies; and nomination of replacements for vacant positions in the working group. Attendance at the meeting is open to the public, and public participation will be invited during a scheduled period on the agenda.
