Peck Moves Up in IPSSSDR

Aaron Peck from Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, posted the fastest time on Day Three of the 2013 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race with the fastest time of on the 52-mile trail out of Alpine, Wyo. Peck averaged 11.8 MPH running 11 dogs.  This is Peck’s fifth time participating in the IPSSSDR, and he says it is the warm welcome of the region that brings him back.  Blayne “Bud” Streeper from Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, was second during the third leg of the race.  Overall, Streeper remains in the lead for the three stages combined.  Following the Alpine stage, teams left for Pinedale where a Welcome Mushers Dinner at the Sublette County Library awaited them.
