Peck Leads Fourth Heat of IPSSSDR

Aaron Peck from Grand Prairie, Alberta, Canada, again posted the fastest time on Day Four of the 2013 International Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race on the 47-mile trail from Green River Parking area near Cora, Wyoming. It was Peck’s second day in a row with the fastest time for the stage, this time averaging 13.1 MPH with 10 dogs. That puts him in second place behind Blayne “Bud” Streeper from Fort Nelson, British Columbia, Canada, for the cumulative standing. Streeper finished second for the day yesterday while Bruce Magnusson from Manchester, Michigan, was third. Following the Pinedale stage, teams left for Lander for a Welcome Mushers reception there. Today’s race will be 50 miles long.
