Amangani - Whirl Pool 1

US News and World Report released its 2013 Best Hotels rankings this week, and topping the list for the first time is Jackson Hole’s Amangani.  The report touts the hotel’s heated outdoor pool with stunning views of the snow-capped Teton Mountains; the decadent spa that offers everything from mud wraps to massages; and the Grill restaurant that serves local meats and fish and farm-to-table produce.  In the words of the magazine’s review, “Amangani crowns the breathtaking East Gros Ventre Butte in Jackson Hole with grace and luxury.”  The publication goes on: “Amangani‘s location in Jackson Hole is among its best assets, but its staff is just as popular.”  The hotel moves up from sixth place that it occupied in the top ten list last year and it tops the list which includes such hotels as The Four Seasons Resorts in Lanai, in Seattle and on Hawaii, and the Waldorf Astoria in Chicago.
