The Teton County Coroners’ office is looking into the death of a 37-year-old Jackson Hole man who was found dead at his home yesterday afternoon. Joe Casey was found deceased by his employer about 4:15 Monday afternoon when he went to check up on Casey. Casey had recently been treated for flu-like symptoms. However, Acting Coroner Dave Hodges says the actual cause of death is still undetermined pending an autopsy. None-the-less, Hodges says it does appear that Casey died of complications from his illness and there was no foul play. Casey had most recently been serving as Manager of Jackson Hole’s Moose Hockey Team.
