Plans Continue To Improve 390/22
The Wyoming Department of Transportation and the Federal Highway Administration, in cooperation with the Town of Jackson and Teton County are continuing their work on developing a “Planning and Environmental Linkage” study for Highways 22 and 390. The purpose of the study is to develop a vision for the corridor, identify the transportation needs, and develop preliminary alternatives for solutions to the transportation challenges in this corridor such as wildlife incidents. The effort began with a stakeholder workshop and public open house back in October. That input is currently being used to develop alternatives for that area. Conceptual designs for possible projects are to be presented during a public meeting in late Spring. No date has been set as yet for that meeting.
