Did your paycheck grow last year?  The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services Friday revealed that the total unemployment insurance covered payroll increased by $142.7-million during the second quarter of 2012.  Of course, at the same time employment also grew by5701 jobs, but the department also says the average weekly wage increased by $22 or 2.7%.  That was higher than the five-year average for salary growth.  Unemployment insurance covered payroll represents approximately 91½ % of the state’s wages and salaries and 43.8% of the state’s personal incomes.  However, while the department’s computations are not yet completed, officials say it appears the growth experiences during the second quarter slowed sharply during the third quarter.
