Elderly Woman Killed By Forklift
A bizzare accident yesterday has the town of Pinedale reeling. A 91-year-old woman died at the local grocery store after being struck by a fork lift that was unloading a delivery truck in the store’s loading area. According to the Sublette County Sheriff’s Office, Martha Nannen of Pinedale was knocked down by the forks of the machine and then struck by the machine itself shortly after 3:00 pm. She was transported to the Pinedale medical clinic where she was later pronounced dead. A short time later, KPIN Radio reports the driver of the forklift suffered a heart attack and was airlifted to Eastern Idaho Medical Center in Idaho Falls. His current condition is not known at this time.
