Recreational visits up, non-recreational visits down slightly made for an almost identical visitation figure for Grand Teton National Park when comparing January of this year with January of 2012.  Specifically, 440 fewer people passed through the park entrance stations during the month this year.  Yellowstone also experienced a nominal decline in visitation with recreational visits and non-recreational visits down slightly.  Specifically, the decline amounted to 128 people.  Both parks see the declines as statistically insignificant.
