Moose Chase Attracts 195 Skiers

February 19, 2013 Jackson Hole, State of Wyoming, Teton County No Comments
Nordic

Jackson Hole Ski & Snowboard Club’s Nordic program hosted the 21st Annual Moose Chase at Trail Creek Ranch Saturday. The 195 participants ranged in ages from 2 to 77. There were five different distances to choose from: Bob’s Mini-est Moose Chase ½ km, 3km, 5km, 15km, and 30km. The races were in wave starts so there were   3km – 30km racers on the course all at the same time, which club officials say was inspiring for the younger skiers as they were able to have the older elite skiers racing by them.  Results of the race have been posted on line at http://milliseconds.com/races/detail/139028/146670.
