No Announcement About Supervisor’s Office
While it had been estimated that the announcement would be made yesterday revealing the location of Bridger Teton National Forest Supervisor’s Office when it is reconstructed, that announcement did not come. Forest Spokesperson Mary Cernicek says Forest officials in the regional office now say it may be some time before they are prepared to forward a recommendation to the Washington Office of the Forest Service. Then more time will be required for officials there to review that recommendation and render a decision. Last week, outgoing Forest Supervisor Jacque Buchanan had revealed that a compromise solution to the recommendation the office be moved to Alpine was being proposed. It was believed a ruling on that recommendation would be made after the long President’s Day weekend.
