Ice Rinks Close In Teton County
It was bound to happen. Due to warming temperatures and strong afternoon sunshine. ice surfaces on the Teton County/Jackson Parks and Recreation Department outdoor ice rinks are melting necessitating the closure for the season of those outdoor ice rinks. Specifically, the closures affect the rinks at the Rodeo Grounds and Davey Jackson Elementary School Field in Jackson, Owen-Bircher Park in Wilson and at the Alta Elementary School. Of course the indoor rink at the Jackson Hole Recreation and Event Center remains open through March 19th.
