Interim BTNF Supervisor Named

Probert

The Intermountain Regional Forester has asked Cheryl Probert to come Bridger-Teton National Forest as the acting Forest Supervisor succeeding Jacque Buchanan who is taking a position in the Rocky Mountain Regional Office of the Forest Service later this month.  Probert will serve in the interim position while the Forest Service selects a permanent supervisor. Probert is currently the Deputy Forest Supervisor on Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest in Utah and she previously served as Forest Planner at Caribou-Targhee National Forest, so she is familiar with regional issues. Current Forest Supervisor Jacque Buchanan, will begin her new position as the Director for Renewable Resources in Lakewood, Colorado, after her last day on March 22.

That ruling put an end to hunting wolves anywhere in the state, whether they’re in the trophy game area in the northwestern corner […]
