“Beware of the Ides of March”
Today is March 15th – made famous in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar with the warning from a seer to “Beware of the Ides of March” when history records that the Roman leader was assassinated. However, in reality, every month containe “ides” which according to the Roman calendar take place in the middles of the months. The Ides fall on the fifteenth day of March, May, July and October, and on the thirteenth day of the other months. By definition, the ides of any month are no luckier or unluckier as any other part of the year, so if you began this day with any degree of anxiety, “Ide” not be overly concerned.
