Another Mexican national in the US illegally has been sentenced in Federal Court and deported after being arrested in Jackson for illegal re-entry into the US after a previous deportation.  56 year-old Angel Hernandez-Escalante, aka Jose Gonzalez-Alvarez of Mexico, was sentenced by Federal District Judge Scott Skavdahl last week, for and received time served plus ten days in jail. He was further ordered to pay a $100.00 special assessment and is subject to deportation upon release from custody. This case was investigated by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
