Concern Raised For Summer Water Supplies
Reservoirs in the Upper Snake River Basin are filling again with the reservoirs collectively filled to 69% capacity. Individually, those reservoirs range from 100% filled at Henry’s Lake and 90% filled at American Falls to 39% of capacity at Pallisades Reservoir. Jackson Lake is currently filled to 74% of its storage capacity. The Bureau of Reclamation says with the dry months, snowpack percentages and runoff projections have dropped below normal and the outlook for summer water supply is similar to last year’s.
