Local Businessman On US Chamber Board

A Jackson business leader has been appointed to serve as a member of the board of directors of the US Chamber of Commerce for 2013.  Scott Anderson is the general manager of Great Western Lodging overseeing motel, bar and restaurant properties in Jackson Hole and Sun Valley, Idaho.  As a board member, Anderson will help tackle issues facing state and local chambers, associations, and other business groups, and help advance pro-growth policies and programs.  Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce Director Jeff Golightly says he is thrilled about the appointment, adding that the local chamber will be strengthened by the abilility to leverage Anderson’s knowledge of its national counterpart. Anderson has spent the last 22 years as head of Chaparral Broadcasting, Inc., managing more than 10 radio stations in Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, and Hawaii.
