Two Jackson police officers were treated and released at St. John’s Medical Center early Saturday morning after a suspected drunk driver on West Broadway veered into the rear end of their police car which was on a stop near The Pawn Shop with its red, amber and blue lights flashing.  One of the officers was placed on light duty due to his injuries while the second is back on full duty.  Lieutenant Cole Nethercott says both officers were inside the vehicle at the time it was hit.  Teton County Sheriff’s officers placed the 37-year-old driver of the pick-up truck under arrest for driving while under the influence of alcohol.  The incident is still being jointly investigated by the Teton County Sheriff’s Office and the Wyoming Highway Patrol.  A female passenger in the truck was also transported to Saint John’s Hospital where she was also treated and released.
