T.C.Unemployment Fell In February

Employment

Unemployment in Teton County dropped significantly in February according to statistics posted by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services yesterday.  That agency’s monthly report shows the unemployment rate here was down to 5.6% from 6.5% seen here in January and down from 7% in February 2012. Of course, that figure is expected to climb again briefly with the end of the winter tourist season, and prior to the onset of the summer season.  The state’s average during February remained level for a third month in a row at 4.9%.  The best place to find a job was Niobrara County with a jobless rate of 4% followed by Sublette County at 4.1%.  Lincoln County saw the highest unemployment rate in February at 7.9%

As hunters, it’s our responsibility to take care of the critters we hunt, as well as those we don’t. We have to obey the game laws. Police ourselves to be sure others respect the wildlife. And even offer suggestions to the Game and Fish Commission when we think there are better ways to ensure that […]
