Maxfield Warns of Business Scam

Maxfield

Wyoming Secretary of State Max Maxfield is warning Wyoming business owners of a deceptive solicitation form that has surfaced. Maxfield says businesses have received a form that appears to be an “Annual Minutes Disclosure Statement”.  The form seems to insinuate that it is to be filled out and a fee paid in order for the businesses to comply with state and national laws.  These forms may even reference “state statutes” or “piercing the corporate veil”. Likewise, Maxfield says forms of this type have shown up in several other states including Colorado and are only now now beginning to surface in Wyoming.  Maxfield advises any business that receives a form that seems questionable to contact his office immediately.

I recently had the rare opportunity to test a compact and a full-size pickup pretty much head-to-head. But the Nissan Frontier, despite its size, is no less truck than the Nissan […]
