T.C. Recreation Center Reopens

Recreation Center

Work on the Jackson-Teton County Aquatics Center was completed ahead of schedule last week.  Consequently, recreation officials were able to open the facility yesterday. For the past two weeks lifeguards and some front desk staff had been cleaning, polishing, painting, repairing, and assisting with major projects in the aquatic area.  Those projects included replacing valves in part of the filtration system for the lap pool, repairing the concrete under the leisure pool liner (both of which required draining the pools), replacing the hot tub filter;  repairing the therapy pool lift, caulking and scrubbing the pool deck and preventative maintenance to the slides. The facility is now open during its regular hours as posted on http://www.tetonparksandrec.org/recreation-center/hours-fees
