Business at the Jackson Hole Airport continued to climb during March, according to the monthly report to the airport board. The number of people catching flights out of the airport totaled 8% more than the same month last year, while the number of those arriving here increased by 5%. Year-to-date, those numbers are up significantly, increasing by 14% for enplanements and 11% for deplanements. The continued growth in airport business comes on the heels of what was termed a banner year in 2012, when over 275-thousand passengers were counted both for catching flights here and arriving here on one of the five airlines serving the valley. Airport Manager Ray Bishop says he anticipated 2013 may very well eclipse the level of activity seen in 2012. Last month, the airport saw service from American, Delta, Skywest, United, Frontier and Republic Airlines.
