Website Established For Brokers

usfs

Bridger Teton National Forest has now created a website where Real Estate Brokers nationwide may respond to the request for quotes to list the 10 acres of land at the Forest’s administrative site in north Jackson.  Acting Forest Supervisor Cheryl Probert says after market analysis for the Jackson property, the Bridger-Teton decided to have the property represented by a Real Estate Broker. The Broker will communicate on behalf of the Forest Service with any and all potential buyers. Probert says because it is such a unique property and unprecedented conveyance project, the Forest determined that soliciting a Broker is the right thing to do. Typically, properties sold by the Forest Service are advertised on the General Services Administrative website in an auction setting, and ultimately, the land is then sold to the highest bidder. Anyone interested in brokering this parcel may apply at www.fbo.gov.  Probert says it is hoped to select a broker for the project by June first.
