No Wyoming Runners Hurt

Marathon Bomb

The Boston Athletic Association lists 23 residents of Wyoming as participants in this year’s ill-fated marathon, including nine from the Jackson Hole area.  Fortunately, the times that each passed specific checkpoints in the race indicate that none were caught in the horrific bomb blasts that left at least three dead and more than 130 injured.  No runners were listed from nearby Teton Valley, Idaho.  The race was called off before everyone finished, and runners still approaching the finish line were diverted away from the scene. Numerous Jackson Hole residents participate each year in the Boston Marathon, which yesterday led to a period of uncertainty until they were accounted for after the bombing.

  • Back to normal at the trap range - April 17, 2014
By some strange luck, I shot really well last week in our trap league. But last night, I didn’t do so well. Not even close. The thing about shooting trap is that you’re bound to have good rounds once in a while. Those good nights give you hope that you’re improving. For some people, that […]
