The Bridger-Teton National Forest has released a Draft Supplement to the 2008 Feedground Environmental Impact Statement showing new information about the Wyoming Game and Fish Commission Elk Feedground at Alkali Creek. The Forest Service 2008 decision which authorized continued use of various elk feedgrounds did not include a decision for the Alkali Creek Feedground.  Now, the supplemental document provides additional analysis of issues that surround the Alkali Creek feedground including impacts within the Gros Ventre Wilderness and updates to Threatened and Sensitive Species impacts there. The supplement is currently available from the Forest for public comment, and comments must be submitted within 45 days of its publication in the Federal Register. Comments will be considered and responded to prior to the preparation of a final Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement.
