LVE Seeks Board Candidates

Lower Valley Energy is seeking nominations of individuals to represent two districts on the Lower Valley Energy Board of Directors. Those districts are District 2 in Star Valley and District 5 in the town of Jackson.  Specifically, District 5 encompasses the portion of Jackson that lies east of Cache Street and the areas north of Zenith Drive, excluding the Jackson Hole Golf and Tennis Club. A petition to nominate an individual must have the signatures of ten or more members of LVE and the person being nominated must live within the district to be represented. The deadline to submit nomination forms is Friday, April 26th while the election takes place at the cooperative’s annual meeting June 27th.  Nomination forms are available at the Lower Valley Energy offices in Afton and Jackson.
