Single Lane Control

Barricades will be making their appearance on US Highway 26/89/191 at the bridge over the Snake River near Horse Creek Station in the days ahead.  Rehabilitation of the bridge deck there will involve limiting traffic across the bridge to one alternating lane during construction.  Actual work will begin Monday.  The bridge has been plagued with significant potholes resistant to patching for over a year.  Cannon Builders of Blackfoot, Idaho will mill off the top layer, repair the concrete deck and then repave the surface. Weather-permitting, Wyoming Department of Transportation officials say work is anticipated to be completed by the end of June.
