Airport Parking Limited For A Time

May 1, 2013 Jackson Hole, State of Wyoming, Teton County No Comments
airport parking

If you have gone out to the airport in the last few days, you may have discovered that the parking lot is largely blocked off.  Airport officials say that this is being done in advance of a sealcoating project that is set to take place next week.  Specifically, most of the public parking spaces – except for rows 16 through 22 –– will be treated between May 7th and 15th, and the barricades are in place so that the rows to be treated are vacated in time for the project.  The parking lot project was started last fall, but was interrupted by weather and scheduling conflicts as the project is temperature sensitive.  Airport officials encourage those connecting with flights to seek an alternative to driving to the airport and wishing to park there while away. The sealcoating project is a Wyoming Aeronautics Group Maintenance Pavement Plan, paid for by the state.

The Wyoming Cowboy football team will have one more practice before Saturday’s spring game.  The major focus this spring, at least for the offensive line, is to be more physical and deliver the blows.  As offensive line coach Scott Fuchs tells the unit, “be the hammer, not the nail”.  That’s a difference in philosophy between […]
  • Find some new places to fish - April 16, 2014
Instead of fishing the same old places this spring, do something different. Find a new honey hole. You don’t have to go to the same place every time you go fishing. When you find a good spot to fish, it’s nice to know you can go back there and catch fish. But if your honey […]
