trash burn

You’re cleaning up your yard and have accumulated dead branches, leaves and other excess vegetation.  Beginning Saturday, residents in the Town of Jackson will be allowed to burn those items; provided they contact Jackson’s law enforcement ahead of time.  Of course, those control burns must be attended constantly and sufficient water supply must be available to control or extinguish the fire as necessary.  Burn week will continue through the following Saturday, May 11th.
