2 of 4 Tourism Awards Honor Jackson Residents

REACH

Individuals and businesses in the travel and hospitality industry were recognized Tuesday during the REACH Awards luncheon held at the Wind River Hotel and Casino in Riverton. Two of the awards were made to Jackson businesses.  The Customer Service Employee of the Year went to Rich and Ryan Grout at Auto TECH in Jackson. Rich and Ryan are a father/son team nominated by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce for going above and beyond to help a family that was stranded over the 4th of July weekend. They helped find accommodations when the town was sold out, provided transportation and ran errands for them over the holiday weekend.  The Destination/Attraction of the Year went to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. In their nomination, Interactive Training Solutions of Jackson said, “Jackson Hole Mountain Resort is a true leader for Wyoming tourism. Regionally they lead efforts such as Jackson Hole Air, Teton Village Improvement and Services District and the Southern Teton Area Rapid Transit, but overall they have become a cornerstone for visitors returning to Wyoming year after year.”  Elsewhere, the Customer Service Organization of the Year went to Allen’s Diamond 4 Ranch in Lander and the Industry Partner of the Year went to Cody Beers, Public Relations Specialist with the Wyoming Department of Transportation.

  • Back to normal at the trap range - April 17, 2014
By some strange luck, I shot really well last week in our trap league. But last night, I didn’t do so well. Not even close. The thing about shooting trap is that you’re bound to have good rounds once in a while. Those good nights give you hope that you’re improving. For some people, that […]
