Initial statistics from Jackson Hole Airport for last month’s business was in error, and revised statistics have now been issued. Travelers through the airport did not decline last month when compared with the same month last year as first reported. According to the revised report to the airport board, five percent more passengers arrived in the valley on scheduled flights by the valley’s seven carriers, while the same number left on flights from the airport compared with the previous April. Airport manager Ray Bishop says, the airport is doing very well and advance bookings for the summer ahead look very strong. Specifically, the airport has seen ten percent more passengers arriving here year-to-date and 85,711 passengers, or 13 percent more than last year are flying out. More carriers served the airport last month than during April of 2012, leading to six percent more flights (amounting to eight more flights, total) to choose from during the month.
