Jackson residents may remember two years ago at this time when a pastor from Wichita, Kansas and a group of protesters with him set up picket lines to protest a doctor who performs abortions. Due to other activities on the town square, they were they were issued a court order from the state barring the anti-abortion protestors from the square. When they ignored that order and showed up on the square, police officers arrested Pastor Mark Holick. Last week, Holick has filed suit in federal court in Cheyenne against the Town of Jackson and two of the town’s officers alleging they violated his civil rights. No date has been announced for the case to be heard.
