Lady Broncs State Champs

Bronc

The Jackson Hole High School girls’ soccer team emerged as state champion at the state meet hosted here, winning the first game against Powell 1 to 0, the second game against Buffalo 2 to 1 and defeating Star Valley in the final game 2 to 0.  This marks the girls’ fifth state championship in the past six years. This weekend also, the Jackson Hole Juggernauts roller derby team had a rough, but profitable weekend – losing their meets but learning a lot.  In the first bout, they took on Helena Montana’s Hellz Belz and lost 277 to 104 and during the second round, they went down in defeat to Missoula’s Hellgate Rollergirls with a final score of 303 to 92.
