The Wyoming Attorney General has filed a motion to continue the lawsuit over wolf management in Wyoming. Last week the plaintiffs filed a “Notice of Voluntary Dismissal.” This, if not challenged, would leave only the Court in Washington, DC to hear the challenge over Wyoming’s wolves. Governor Matt Mead saysas this is a matter of considerable local interest, he believes the suit should be heard close to the Wyoming’s citizens. In his official statement, Mead says, “Sometimes the party that files a lawsuit must finish what they started. This is one of those times.” The State of Wyoming is asking the Court to set aside the “Notice of Voluntary Dismissal” and give all of the parties in the suit a chance to respond.
