Giving Begins For Tin Cup Challenge

The giving period for the 6th Annual Tin Cup Challenge in Teton Valley, Idaho officially opened last week and donations will be accepted through July 29.  44 Teton Valley nonprofit organizations are participating in this year’s Tin Cup Challenge.  Community Foundation of Teton Valley’s Executive Director Kim Trotter says since 2008, the Tin Cup Challenge has raised more than $4.8 million for local nonprofit organizations.  Donations can be made to individual nonprofits or to the Challenger Fund, which provides match to the nonprofits’ designated giving, on the foundation’s online giving page. The Tin Cup Challenge is a nine-week Teton Valley philanthropy campaign that concludes with a competitive race and community-wide celebration in Driggs City Park on Saturday, July 20th.
